The Chainsmokers- KANYE (ft. Siren)

The phrase #preach has never been more applicable than now. The Chainsmokers are known for their absolutely STELLAR remixes, but now their turning to more original stuff, KANYE being their second original song ever.

Kim WISHES this song was about her (or that there was any song about her.. sry Kim). But instead KANYE is about (SPOILER ALERT) Kim's boy-toy Kanye and its equal parts hilarious and catchy. Whether the lyrics are satirical or Siren actually wishes she were Kanye** (both valid options), the subject is bound to attract attention. The handclaps and heavy house piano turn this track into an absolute anthem for the 20-somethings of the world (as if we didn't have enough summertime anthems out there already). Siren's vocals and harmonies are kind of whiny, but in a good way they combine with a solid drop  to make this a track of epic proportions (as if the song's subject was already epic). I can just image Kanye subconsciously singing this to himself as he looks in one of his 327 household mirrors. Or maybe Jay-Z jealously w̶e̶e̶p̶s̶ sings this song whenever Bey isn't home. Like the Solange elevator incident, we'll never know for sure (literally nothing angers me more, but like how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop, THE WORLD WILL NVR KNOW).

**if you wish u were Kanye, i can't make that happen, but here's a consolation prize. You won't be sorry you clicked on that.
